Lisa and I were on vacation maybe. We stop in a store, it’s an old video game store maybe even specifically for megaman.

I think I was ushered in by a very strange iteration of X (doesnt exist irl). I look at another character from that iteration and exclaim “wow is that supposed to be sigma?”. It looked like a bad or something, with sigma in very stylized font on the sides.

I’m looking at the displays at the register. We bought a charcuterie board while we waited for the cashier to check us out (was with another customer). I see that among the gift items there’s a classic megaman snow globe type thing, but there are cylindrical inserts that you could put inside that spin and together make the illusion of megaman’s idle animation. You could buy different inserts to make it look like hes jumping or shooting.

I am looking at one of the demos and notice it stretches across the counter, it is supposed to show a hologram of the charged shot flying along its length. That would be cool, I thought. I pick at a part that seems to be obstructing the light when the attendant murmurs something about calibration. After some time I pick at it again and he gets angrier saying a second time something about it calibrating. I’m not sure why the guy is so upset.

Suddenly I’m not with Lisa any more but Elliot Reid from scrubs, for a split second, and another retail worker comes out and asks the first what he thinks about the Reid party (of which I am a part) and the first guy goes “honestly not a fan”.

Elliot is Lisa again and we’re disgusted by the treatment, I’m definitely not buying anything regardless of how cool it looked. We pay up and leave. He confronts us outside and I wake.

Earlier, in a walking dead setting, in a fight with other people, they patiently wait for me to figure out how this post-apocalyptic shotgun was supposed to work.

Also earlier, I am running as fast as I can, stumbling sometimes but never getting hurt. I come across someone running as fast as me. I’m impressed.
